Over three years that’s €10–18k for a stack you don’t own. For €5–8k you get a tool that does your actual work, that you own, with no subscription.
I run my own company on tools I built
Most freelancers build for clients and run their own business on SaaS. I don’t. Lieux de Retraites — my company — runs on a CRM, a prospecting tool, and a newsletter tool I wrote myself. These aren’t portfolio demos. They’re in production. They pay the bills.

- 01No taking over existing code. Greenfield only, or a full replacement.
- 02No plugging into a system I don’t control. Public, documented APIs: yes.
- 03Imposed stack: Next.js / Vercel / Supabase / Stripe / Resend / Make. Not negotiable.
- 04No heavily regulated data (health, banking stored in-house, minors).
- 05No SLA under 24 business hours. No on-call.
- 06No project longer than 6 weeks. Past that: two fixed-fee builds, or I pass.
- 07You own the code, hosted on your accounts. I’m admin, not owner. Exit is always clean.
How I work
I design and ship custom tools on a stack I know end to end. I don't take over existing codebases — I start from scratch, or I replace. Before anything touching money or personal data goes live, the code is reviewed by a senior developer. That's included.

How do we talk?▸
Mostly in writing. I answer fast by email. Few calls, on purpose — that’s a quality choice, not a constraint. One intro call and one wrap-up for a build if you want them.
How does the retainer work?▸
One client at a time. 4–6 hours a week, async. One 30-minute call a month, max. Evolutions, automations, fixes, hosting. If the queue is full, I’ll say so.
Do you take over my current codebase?▸
No. I start from scratch, or I replace. That’s the deal, written above, not a footnote.
Who owns the code?▸
You do. It lives on your GitHub, your Vercel, your Stripe. I’m an admin. Walking away is boring and clean.
Can a project run longer than 6 weeks?▸
Then it’s two builds, sequenced, or I’m not the right person. I don’t stretch a forfait into a blur.
Is the senior review a real person?▸
Yes. Before anything that touches money or personal data goes live, another developer reads the code. It’s in the price.
